the main reason is that between labo(u)r shortages and increasing health requirements a lot of hotels, restaurants and bars in whistler are shutting down.  add the threat of the border closing again and it all became too risky.  for some.  apparently.

I mean it's also a company trip, so socializing in indoor places was likely also on the agenda too…so I'm sure that was a factor as well

Yeah he's doing fine

I just listened to  Rick Rubin interview him on his podcast Broken Record
(which is a fantastic Podcast, the Malcom Gladwell one with Flea confirmed that Flea's book is one of the best AutoBios out there not just ones by musicians)

It's a fantastic interview and highly recommended
Rollins talked about going from music to spoken word tours and was like "I can fill up large theaters for sometimes multiple nights, I tour 21 countries and every dates a sell out.  With the singing gig, I'd be lucky if 1000 people showed up and then we'd have the whole band/entourage, just didn't make sense for what I do with my time"
Also he pretty much said that he will never do a nostalgia Black Flag/Rollins band tour

The Suburban Moms love Glen Youngkin. It's probably the vest. Henry needs a vest.

I mean I have read a few of his books..Rollins is almost non-social other than when working… interacting with people is at times torture for him…
