Just Postponed (or Cancelled)

David Byrne in Akron… I'll assume shitty ticket sales but didn't get to see the venue map.

His tickets for The Anthem are laughably expensive,  but imma try to get one space style.

I know, I was excited for this show, but couldn't justify the price
he's got two shows at the anthem, and they look pretty darn full, so not low sales here
I think someone claimed on Reddit that David got covid, not sales related.

Read this too..  sounds like he could somehow sing in Pittsburgh (recording???) But could hardly speak between songs. I retract my statement above, but if a show is canceled,  akron is the Place to do it. Bummer.
Morrissey at Foxwoods. Not an illness this time but a 'credible threat on Morrissey's life'.
y'all gonna want to be sitting down for this one… ready?

Morrissey cancels Connecticut concert at Foxwoods after death threat

but in typical morrissey fashion, it can't be straight-forward.  the timeline, as far as i can tell:
- a canadian, doing on of the most un-canadian thing ever, issued a death threat against mo
- mo proceeds to perform at a festival in ottawa a few days later, show goes off without incident
- the threatener is arrested in the suburbs of ottawa
- mo cancels show in… CT

so he is willing to play a show in the hometown of the threatener while the dude is wandering free - but he needs to cancel a show 2 weeks later that is hundreds of miles away in another country?

reminder: meat is murder!
dang, shempty posted same thing… self-warning (less than a yellow card)

to be fair you called him mo not moz, so there was some confusion on the call
Damn it.

told you.  You would have heard something from the band if they were thinking of that.  there has been zero news since the wrist post
i love that they wrote "If you received an email regarding the show that says otherwise, please disregard" - AS IF THEY THEMSELVES DIDN'T SEND THAT EXACT MESSAGE

This actually looks amazing. If this was on the east coast, I would so be in.

hope you didn't make any travel plan, because, you know… this thread…
