I was looking forward to finally seeing them…my favorite act in 1988….they were so popular in Argentina at one point they had seven of the top ten on radio…insane…it’s like they were discovered late and suddenly it’s all anyone listened to.. I like to tell the story that then they came down for a live show and everyone realized they were flaming homosexuals and nobody liked them anymore but I am not sure this is true … not sure why I would make something up like that…not sure why I would say that….maybe because I thought of Argentines as very homophobic…maybe I was homophobic?… It was so long ago I really don’t remember but boy did I love them 1988-1989…

I'm pretty sure a blind person in 1988 could tell that Erasure were flaming homosexuals, no?
