I think the point is that Tickets.com published the fact that any customer (same user name, address, or email address, I believe) that ordered more than 2 tickets would have both orders canceled. It's not the honor system; it's the rules! Hope this guy was smart enough to not buy them with the same credit card…

I happened to start checking the site around 9:30. I hit the waiting room as well at 9:53. Had a few systems with browsers and tabs open. Finally got a bite around 10:05. Not sure if the way the waiting room works is by IP Address or just browser requests. Glad I had that computer in Va Beach working remotely, since that was the winning one. <img src="

I paid $50 to a scalper to see SP at the Warfield in S.F. back in 93. NOW… 14 years later and with a better job I would happily pay $100 to anyone who could provide me a ticket.

The parking is not bad. 8th Street is metered parking but the meters turn off at like 6 and I've never had a problem parking there. The club has a $10 pay lot you might want to try. (You can but that in advance.)

The going rate seems closer to $400 per ticket. :(

No you are a scalper if you sell any for anything other than face value. The ONLY way any of the scalpers can be selling pairs is by having two pair and selling off the 2nd tickets of each.

Where are people getting this from? I haven't seen ANYWHERE it says the ticket purchaser must enter the venue. If the ticket purchaser can go to the window and get their two tickets, what's to stop them from walking down the block and handing both tickets to some other people?
I'm sorry if I missed where this was said, but people keeping stating it and I can't find it.

If this is done like the beastie boys show that tickets were the same way, you dont even get a ticket until you go through the door. They come down the line with a cart, tickets, arm bands, and a will call list. You present your ID and CC. They arm band you that second and give you a STUB ONLY. They arm band your guest and do the same. Then you go in.

Yup… I'm getting that impression. I love the Pumpkins but that is excessive.

No offense, but why would we assume the same ticketing rules are in effect for this as they were for Beastie Boys? They were very explicit in spelling all that out for Beasties, whereas for this all they've said is "Will call only, can only be picked up night of show."

Find another board to piss people off on, really not in the mood for your kind of bullshit. Oh and you can show up when hell freezes over, because hopefully they've already cancelled your 4 tickets.

They had the same disclaimer damn near word for word. Just my hunch thast the way it will be for this show. My question is why are you so worried about it?
