It's our fault…..I got a message about a posting I put on craiglist for a ticket, and a person said they had one for $499. It's the same person asking $499 on ebay, so I asked how did she come up with the price. She said her room mate is huge pumpkins fan (lie) and that he suggested they try to get tickets since there is such a buzz on the 930 club bboard.
He didn't get any, but she did and offered to take him but he said no she should sell them (both) and that he suggested $500 each. Anyway once I pointed out that she couldn't sell both, she'd have to use one…she called the club and they confirmed that, so she said she had to go but couldn't sell the other for less than $450 or she'd just give it to her room mate because "it wouldn't be worth it."
I said she should give it to her room mate, and should never take his advice for ANYTHING, and that her kharma would be so much better if they just went and enjoyed the show instead of trying to pay this month's rent off the back of some sap that'll break down and pay 3 or 4 bills on monday.
Anyway I guess it's basically our fault (or mine for ranting about them)….
hopefully they'll read THIS and feel the shame.
