Rumor: Smashing Pumpkins at 9:30 Club July 10th

I'm also betting $35.
Santa Cruz was $35.

I'll take under. $25 is my guess. They've made no attempt to gouge their fans on ticket prices yet.

Now merchandice on the other hand…

$35 is the same price that chick from the Cranberries is charging!
i suspect that price will be more than NC/SF, since their getting an economy of scale there - they have several shows to recoup transpo costs, set-up costs, etc.

i fully realize that this is idle chatter, but in the end does it really matter? dunno about y'all, but it's not like i'm going to turn down a ticket because the final price is $40… or $50… or…

Yeah, but she won't sell out so the profit margins are the same for the artists.
huh? as in, sell-out at $25 = less-than-sold-out @ $35?

I stole a shirt from the Police show and used it to wipe my ass and still felt like I got ripped off.

The album cover shirts were $35 in Asheville. They had a more arsty shirt for $50 and a hoodie for $90. It was pretty  .
Ooops sorry! :)

I'd pay $35 for Delores O'Riordan before I would Billy Corgan.

But that probably makes me a retard to some, and I know I shouldn't be expressing my opinions on this board… wankers like Hoya Paranoia might be outraged that someone has the audacity to have differing opinions than themself.

Purely for illustrating my point (no facts involved):

As in house takes $15 per ticket, artist gets the rest.

1000 tickets at $25=$10,000 to artist.
500 tickets at $35=$10,000 to artist.

But I was half-joking.
DC101 is saying $35 online.

OK and I have a bounty on Fritz Hanz's scalp, not only does he announce the phreekin show, but he makes it editors choice, provides onsale date AND time, and encourages people to blow off V Fest?!

Another on the long list of those dead to me, since when did the washington post report NEWS
I just gave up trying to get tickets.
Would I have better luck ordering at 10 AM sharp on Friday morning online or being at a tickets.com retailer at 10 AM shapr Friday morning?
