Haha I saw that earlier. You have to admit, if you're nuts enough to pay the ebay prices, you're probably the kind of person who was going to camp all day. So, really, it kinda works out for both.

I guess I'm not a big Smashing Pumpkins fan really, but if my five favorite bands were playing a sold out 9:30 Club and I didn't have tickets AND DC101 was giving them away all day, I don't think I'd have the stomach to listen to their mongoloid DJS and horrific playlist, even if it meant a snowball's chance in hell I could be a lucky winner.

Yeah, I guess it was the credit card rejections or people who broke the ticket limit. I could only get 1 but a bunch of people got 2.

As I said in my PM, either someone on here or netphoria said when they got theirs on the phone that the guy said tickets would trickle out all the way to Tuesday so keep on it.

If you want the email of that guy who has a ticket for $200, let me know. :(

with the modified will-call setup, how early will they start letting people into the club?

Standard 1 hour before show is what I would be wagring on. What time you want to get there to stake claim to your favoritist spot is another story.

My girlfriend pointed this out to me this morning. No I am not ChokeyChicken. I do personally know the guy, but I am not a ticket broker or a scalper, nor am I involved in what he does. I even personally gave him shit for the D-Plan thing, but he explained himself, and I believe he did the right thing and sent all proceeds to the fund for the sick child.

I registered as Alex (my actual name) a long time ago, posted under that name for almost two years, but changed my name to this a few months ago, as a joke. Kudos to whoever got the Small Wonder reference!

Also, I was shut out of these tickets (had ten VWR windows open), and I think ChokeyChicken was too.
