I'm not sure why to get in line so early. You plan on standing in like for 5 hours then stand at your "spot" for another 2 1/2 hours? They go on around 9:30 right? lol good luck with that. Probably would be better to just wait out the chaos and grab some drinks before hand then wander over to catch the Pumpkins set. :)

Congrats to everyone that picked up tickets today! A coworker of mine picked up a set as well (thanks to this board) and is now happy he can attend.

Most of us bring cards and sit around with the other hardcore fans and stuff. I did this in Asheville and time flew by and it was alot of fun hearing other people's stories and stuff like that. It's a little like tailgating before a DMB concert, only without the weed or alcohol and the band afterwards isn't hippie-shit.

yeah, i don't get the whole line-up-for-hours thing either. i'm really excited about this show, but i'm not skipping work to sit in the heat for the priviledge of being crushed against the front rail. i'm going to try getting there for 7'ish and hope for a decent mid-floor spot.

you're right. i did. i think i'm still reeling from the fact that someone is paying $400+ for two tickets on ebay, and i just payed 35.

If anyone is planning on showing up a little closer to 9 or so and has an extra, I would definitely be interested in buying it.
