Rumor: Smashing Pumpkins at 9:30 Club July 10th

Elliot was not there and he usually gives out bunches at a time, so one less popular DJ could mean extra tickets.
The Globe is giving away tickets.
What's The Globe?

94.7 -it's better than DC 101, more variety.
…I thought 94.7 was Arrow?
Did anyone else got this?

"Make sure to get there early, as the band has some special things planned before the show!"
…Are they going to bring out that clown from Vieuphoria?
free pizzas?

if that's the case - talk about derivative… ;)

i'm wondering if the heat will cause a transformer to blow… tonight could really be a "Best of the 930 Club" nostalgia night! kids being kicked out for underaged drinking and demanding explanations at the front door optional (but expected).
Has anyone gotten tickets today via ticket.com or phone charge?

I'm still pissed about the Beastie Boys fiasco…
I have been refreshing every 15-30 seconds since 10:45AM and there's been no change to the "sold out" page :(
muy mal
Does anyone think that they will add a show in this area to the fall tour? Even though they would hve been here twice (9:30 Club show and Virgin Festival). I notice that there are open dates, hopefully they will play the area again.

To all those fortunate enough to get tickets, enjoy the show. I am sure it is going to be quite an experience.
Here's hoping that they'll play "I Am One", which is still probably my favorite Pumpkins song. They played it in 1999 when they played the Club, actually that was what they opened with. Queens of the Stone Age were the opening band for that tour too.

Free CD's perhaps?
seriously tho - maybe free CDs? a possibility, given that it's album release day…
