i'm sure shaq's DJ set is really going to pull 'em in.

whoa…that is a load of crap
it's like iheartradio is curating (ok there are a few decent acts in there…but emphasis on few)

Perry you have forsaken us
This reminds me of the fest that was posted where we knew none the bands
I feel like I look at the bottom 50 bands and I only recognize a hand full of them

Waddya think?

if you're into that kind of thing, that's a damn impressive lineup.  won't be a tropical swamp in October so folks just might survive.

By "that kind of thing," do you mean "bad music?"
Pretty sure he means heavy metal/rock and is not passing judgment…we leave that up to you and Julian

Is it a bad thing to have opinions about music on a music message board?

I think the bill looks pretty sweet…Eddie Trunk is an interesting phenomenon and has almost become an industry to himself and a poster boy for heavy metal/ hard rock
Guided by Voices
Teragram Ballroom (LA)
12-31

$100 for ONE HUNDRED songs!!!!
kinda wish Bobby Bare Jr would tour a little on his own, was just spinning that disc we got at his show at Iota
For all ten fans?

I wonder if he gets bored of the GBV gig?

I didn't say he could draw more than 50 people, doesn't mean I don't want to hear some Young Criminals Starvation League tho
I realize that and I like Bobby Bare

Just pointing out he has no fan base left so hard to tour

going to this thing - don't know most of the bands (aside from Pictish Trail, Malcolm Middleton (Arab Srap), and Jason Lytle (Grandaddy), but should be fun!
This is as gross as a destination wedding. Just give us a US tour, assholes.

Anybody for the $3500 ticket?

There will be a tour, and you will probably not attend anyway.

I will not attend this; but I think its fine and not gross. And as between this and a cruise of any sort, this would be preferable to me.

Also, at the Riviera Maya all kinds of wildlife can be encountered at all inclusive resorts, but as cute as they are, they are wild animals. Canine distemper is a highly contagious, systemic, viral disease of dogs seen worldwide,  coatis are susceptible to canine distemper and rabies. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dIWg4qSFHqg
so yes this is a little insane, but I can see the appeal of this package
Definitely only for Julian's America type…5100 sq. ft.!

but to not have to go in the crowd, but have a suite where you could host 10-20 people to watch the show right from your balcony has some appeal

and it's for 4…so really only $875 per person
unlimited food and drinks at no additional cost during your stay too…
and it's 4 days…$220 per day per person isn't exactly Julian's America style pricing

Stagefront Two Bedroom Rock Suite w/ Sky Terrace - Interior

3rd Floor overlooking the stage with sweeping views of the Caribbean

Features a master bedroom with One King Bed and second bedroom with Two Double Beds – each with their own bathrooms

this seems like the fest to make…
I can not recommend Hopscotch highly enough. Those of you who hate festivals would really like it.
