^^ (Misspelling, as always, intentional as anyone who has ever spent 10 seconds in Pittsburgh wants to get the 'H' out of there.)

Heilung Announce First Full Tour of North America

unfortunately for the DC faithful, closest shows are NYC or Pittsburg.

i am contemplating seeing the show in Seattle, Ore.
Yet another Natural DC show ignores us because of the siren lure that is Pittsburg.

Pittsburgh is too far to have anything to do with the DC market….

DC to Pitts, per GMaps: 4 hr 7 min
DC to NYC, per GMaps: 3 hr 57 min
anyone that criticizes pittsburgh hasn't been there in the past 20 years.

Great city.

Someone doesn’t get the concept apparently

NYC is it’s own distinct market

Bands don’t go “NY or DC, which should I hit?”

Same with Pittsburgh

Now a band might go play Baltimore instead of DC…

Great city.

can confirm…great food and beer
Plus the locals are super friendly
Lots of cool hipster vibes as well as old school blue collar stuff

Highly recommend renting a bike, very bike friendly and can cross almost all the bridges on a protected path

Kinda of dorky, but was bummed I didn't get to try the funicular: The Duquesne Incline

Didn't realize that Flashdance is set in Pittsburgh…also can confirm they do have a lot of strip clubs
I was bummed my sister didn’t move from Houston to Pittsburgh

She said it was cold and there was nothing nearby…. I was pretty frustrated telling her Pittsburgh is itself a cool city

They said no to way more money to stay in Houston

This happened earlier this year… gggrrrr

And wtf is close to Houston????? The rest of Texas?? Jesus!!
When it comes to tours, NYC and DC are first-tier cities. Pittsburg and Baltimore, they might hit on round two. Heilung followed this approach.

let me help you with this geography lesson: this has nothing to do with being a distinct market, the relative importance of a given city in the hierarchy of touring stops, etc. it has everything to do with the fact that if you want to see the band on this tour, you have two options that are equally close. if the NYC date isn't convenient, you should consider going to Pittsburgh and vice-versa. no economics or marketing needed.
Umm no…wrong again

You could also show some faith in our Lord and Sexual Assaulter Seth to miraculously provide a Surprise! At the Club show for the true believers. Stand and see your salvation!
You are out of order!
Sileeence!

Or
Since 1991 Out of Order are “indestructable”. Against all trends, we only follow one doctrine: METAL! We don´t give a damn in what drawer you wanna squeeze us in. The only thing that matters is: IT ROCKS

I really respect the humility of Hootie and the Blowfish to acknowledge they cannot headline all four nights and need to bring in some starpower like Barenaked Ladies to close on of them.
