carnation WA??  that's the far end of the valley i live in, about a 30 minute drive (a really nice drive).  it's an outdoor venue, i.e. a stage set up in a field - unless they use the back patio of the hippodrome building, which seems unlikely… either way, i'm there!

factoid: that's carnation as in carnation condensed milk.

Saw Flaming Lips there for NYE one time. This venue is big in the Yada hamband community, if I am correct.

I get that, but there are some quality acts on there…it's just the 48 other non-quality acts and the crowd they bring that could be the issue
