This is the most depressing thing I've ever heard of.
But, but, but…it's based on modern technology. It even includes digital!

"The tour is being launched with the full approval of  the Emerson and Lake Estates, as well as the various managers who have represented the members of the band."

this just feels so genuine.

, as well as the various managers who have represented the members of the band

that line slays me…did they split their cut in the percentage of years of representation?

There must be a good explanation for why no Anthem like September being pretty booked and date not working.

The place in NYC only has 3000 capacity.
I find it hard to believe DC can’t do 3000 particularly with no show in Philly

9-12 is maybe free at Anthem for Pulp but not sure Jarvis, at his age, wants to do back to back and maybe IMP thinks they have better stuff announced and unannounced for the dates Pulp had on the table for this tour.

Still - to me- this is  kind of soul crushing

Realistically how many tickets would Pulp move in this market?
As was suggested when they announced weezer, etc  that there was nothing that weekend scheduled for merriweather, mini festival possibly with pulp.. although nothing for philly, boston, etc for pulp
I just don’t see them being a Merriweather headliner….

Similar to when Belle & Sébastien get booked there three or four solid bands to bring in the punters
was this announced or was I so overwhelmed with meh that I erased the vision of it from my memory

besides the last dinner party (and they should be on the mainstage!) there is almost no one on that list that would remotely make me want to go
ok, maybe I'd see melanie Martinez,
An outdoor festival in Chicago in August?

Yeah…nobody there would make me go but it’s full of big names….and some up and comers…

Young people love seeing all these acts over one weekend that older people go see at the Anthem or something…
For you I think Jazzfest is more your speed festival wise or Primavera in Spain or something

This would be a fantastic 930 show but would they even sell out at $75 a ticket?

I saw them once in like 2006….it was fantastic…I remember That Guy was there but not sure it was an IMP show…it was a radio fest

I should have gone to their wolf trap show
not sure this is the right thread for this announcement, since they'll be playing both the mid-atlantic (AC) and NYC ;D  but yeah, no DC.

the tour kicks off at the lovely Chateau Ste. Michele Winery in the Woodenville, eastside of Seattle - AKA the general area where i live.  anyone who treks out for this can hit me up to discuss accommodations.
