Orioles....part 2?

If I wanted a glass of Hofbrau beer (which I wouldn't, unless I were in Munich at the beer hall) I'd grab a bottle from Total Wine. Not that much difference between German beers on draft vs. bottled, imo.

If I wanted something rare-ish in Baltimore which I couldn't find in a store and didn't want to travel 3000 miles for, I'd go to Max's.

I agree with you about Max's being a dump. But it is a beer lovers dream.

I didn't care for their beer hall that much.  But it definitely tasted better on draft than out of the bottle.

I really was only asking about Alewife.  But thanks.

I would get the Gaffel Kölsch.
Do they even keep an updated draft list online anywhere? That was my problem with
Alewife the time I went. I usually pick the place I'm going based on what's currently on draft. The one time I went, it was a matter of geography rather then beer selection.

If this list is updated, i'd opt for:

Jolly Pumpkin Bam Bierre..excellent saison….hard to find (at least in VA) and comes in a $10 bomber. So you're paying less by getting a draft.

Maine Lunch…great ipa, normally comes in expensive 16 oz bottle, $8 draft price is reasonable.

St Bernardus 12…one of the best Belgian beers, period.

Also can't go wrong with a Union Jack or Green Flash IPA.

Stone Imperial Stout if you're itching for a stout.
This Wieters thing could be problematic.  On top of the Davis thing.

"Dr. James Andrews" definitely hurts his trade value.
Hey, anyone going to any if the games against Detroit early next week?

If Davis can only DH it might mean the end of Lough.  As Cruz would have to play left field every day. Maybe they would get rid of Young instead.

I remember arguing about people on here that the Lombo deal wasn't a big deal.  Now he is in triple A and the other guy was released.  Talk about much to do about nothing.

I am going on Saturday but I am not sure who they are playing.
They're playing Houston this weekend.  I'm going Saturday, Sunday, and Tuesday.

Very fortunate to catch that oblique injury before it got much worse.  So there really was a reason he wasn't hitting homers after all.

The list is a week old, so…..

Went to the game last night. Stopped by Alewife beforehand.  Surprisingly dead at happy hour time. Beer selection is good but pricey. As opposed to Camden Yards where it is bad and pricey.

Actually beer selection at Camden Yards is pretty good.  Flying dog, Leffe, Hoegarden, Goose Island, Fordham, Heavy Seas, Evo,  the brews at Dempsey Pub.  Actually I would say awesome for a major sports venue.
Duckpin on the 3B side

From Buster Olney: In order to ensure that he is in position to be healthy for the 2015 season, Matt Wieters would need to have surgery on his right elbow by about July 1. And remember, Wieters is eligible for free agency after next season. So at some point very soon, the question about Wieters will be: Is he playing for this year, or is his focus on being healthy for next season?
I'm going tonite and tomorrow.
I'm going tonight!

From cbs may 11th:

On the flip-side to the good news, the Orioles also provided some bad news, in the form of sending All-Star catcher Matt Wieters to the disabled list with an elbow strain. Earlier this week, it was feared that Wieters might need season-ending elbow surgery, but a visit to Dr. James Andrews brought back good news and he'll avoid surgery.
