I always liked him when he was an Oriole. He seemed to be a good guy. Didn't get much run support when he pitched, but the team was pretty bad when he was on it.

I've never seen a series that was so even yet it wasn't. KC made every play to be made. And the Orioles' bats were non-existent.

Been an O's fan since I was born! I am definitely an out of control (now sports brokenhearted) fan. But, will be wearing orange and black as I run 26.2 around Baltimore on Saturday! And will be nice to say thanks to the Showalters during the Kids Peace 5K November 1st.

I would not pick up Markakis' option for $17.5m and deal with the wrath of the fans, but who knows - maybe he'll take a longer deal for less?
I would also shop Davis and Weiters, but Davis' suspension and Weiters injury are going to make that hard. Davis might be able to be signed long term (yet, should they?), but Weiters will test free agency for sure. Better to try and get something for him before that.
