Orioles....part 2?

Yep.  These things are not accidents.

According to Jerry Crasnick:

MLB's drug agreement mandates followup testing for amphetamine offense. 25 games for 2nd offense. 80 games for a 3rd.
What a dummy.  Oh well. Pearce plays every day now.
I think you mean Kelly Johnson/Jimmy Parasite/Ryan Flaherty rotate at third base subbing for Davis.

Pearce was already playing everyday at first base.

on wikipedia it says 15-25 games for first offense and 25-50 games for second offense.

You're looking at conviction for banned substance, not testing positive.

From the source document:

Section 7, sub B (it's page 22)

You haven't been watching very closely, have you?   There's a 1B by C Davis in every box score this past week.
Actually, Pearce had started four of the previous five games at 1B, and one in RF. Johnson is the late inning defensive 3B sub, and Davis moves to first. But Pearce was the starter.

complex issues for sure…

i think davis was dumb for pushing it adn continuing to take adderall without the exemption (and after a first failed test) but the fact that he had an exemption, then didnt, is problematic to me. if mlb granted him the exemption in the first place, surely he had a good case for why he needed it, so what changed and when?

again, hes not innocent here but a lot of the details here make this whole system seem kinda misguided imo.

but im also of the mind that its a brutally long season and players should be allowed to take what they need to take to stay focused. thats a whole new can of worms i guess
My work season is brutally long. Longer than an MLB season. Hell, I bet they don't wake up at 5:30 in the morning for work. And I have to put in more than a decade before I retire. Should I be able to take whatever I want to get through it?

sure, fine with me
I find a baseball hard to track as well. Its one of the big reasons I don't play MLB.
I personally know people who perform my job at Chris Davis levels (.196, 1.4 K's per game). They don't make 10 million a year.

Seems like you could do as well as Davis was.

I hope they're the team that knocks them out of the playoffs officially.
Going Wednesday - I'm hoping they split the first two with Toronto.
