More bad news for Orioles….Sometimes they operate like a minor league team…

In what way?  Being diligent about a player's health before giving him millions?  Potentially leaking information to the media?  Egads!

Clark:

"I always have concerns when there appear to be public misses related to a player, related to a player's physical, related to any number of things tied to a negotiation between a club and a player."

So he's concerned about leaks.  Ho-hum.

Even markakis.. they dragged his name through the mud over his health…
No more pies in the face this year.

You can never have too many big, slow guys on your team.

I feel like the O's have got another Nelson Cruz in this signing, only left handed.  He might hit 40+ in the shoebox with that porch.

Looks like DH duty for Trumbo.

This is what should scare you though.  Trumbo has to play OF now, and he's an adventure out there….
How did the Rays let Rickard get away?  I realize it's only spring, but this guy is a shoo-in to be on the OD roster.  Are they really that deep?

They rolled the dice for sure, and it still might work out.  Their 40-man roster was full (and chalk full of OFs), so they put him in the Rule 5 Draft.

The Orioles selected him in the Rule 5 Draft, so he has to stay on the O's 25 man roster the entire season, or the O's have to give him back to the Rays.  I think they felt he was still a year out.
Right.  Ryan Flaherty, T.J. McFarland, Jason Garcia and now Rickard.  Pretty good results for practically no cost.  Other than taking up a roster spot for a year.

That's one rule every Oriole wife or girlfriend will try to break this year.
Tomorrow will be my first game of the season!!!! I got 7th row tickets for section 22!  Should be awesome!

Anybody else going?
Was there opening day. Will be there Saturday! Undefeated!
Nice!  I am only going on Friday because someone gave me two free tickets and a parking pass.
Just bought three tickets to spend my birthday night at Camden Yards…

Do you mean you're only going on Friday because you have free tickets and parking or do you mean you're only going because you have free tickets and parking?  Free is nice though.
I am only going to the game on Friday because someone gave me tickets and a parking pass.

I would go to games (and plan on doing at least five this season), but I was not planning on attending this specific game before I got the free tickets.
I see.
I forgot my fiancée was going out of town.  Her younger brother cant go.  Her dad is out of town on business trip.  Her sister's boyfriend is busy…. I just put out a post about having an extra ticket on Facebook for free and am waiting for a message from any of my Orioles loving friends…

I would be down to give it to one of you guys, if you message me before any of my Facebook friends do… And can meet me around 6:45.
