Did anyone else watch the Inside MLB special on Showalter? So good. I heart him.

Anyone headed to the Yard this weekend? I will be there Friday and Saturday.

2 pretty boring games, huh?

Very boring!

And just like that they're right back in it.

'In addition, the Orioles and Populous are considering creating an open concourse on the first level by tearing out sections of seats, and the concession stands and restrooms behind them, to create a large walk-through area with views to the field, Angelos said.'

I hope that one comes to fruition.
I do too. I think it's actually the only thing wrong with the stadium.
Well who woulda think the O's would throw away the whole season in one series against the Twins?
So awful.
Would not surprise me if they rattled off a nice win streak right now.

Wouldn't be surprised to see the bleeding continue,  either.

The losses hurt more when the games are winnable
oh well, maybe next year
I'm depressed.

But, last year was their year and they couldn't get it together in the ALCS.

We'll always have game 2 of the ALDS.

It's mind-boggling how bad this team is right now.  It's a very funky funk.

Is this about the Orioles?  Or the Angels? Or the Nats?

Because that description could apply to all three at the moment.  The descents have been swift and painful to watch….

At least the Orioles were right about Jake Arrieta.
Sure - kick a team when they're down.  He got more than enough chances to prove himself in Baltimore.

Shaping up to be a disappointing season for all the MLB commentators on here.  :(

Finally, sweetcell has a reason to start talking baseball.
September 6, 2012 - Cal Ripken Statue night - the night I knew the Orioles were going to the playoffs.

September 1, 2015 - Cal Ripken 2131 celebration night (and my birthday) - the night I knew the Orioles season was over.
The team seems like they are going to finish their season just like Cal finished his career.  Sad.

Lots to do this offseason.
