Orioles....part 2?

I do too. And the O's are good on the road.

I just want the marathon on Saturday to be a celebration and not a sad 26.2 mile lap :)
But regardless, I will be out there in my orange and black and O's headband!

And then maybe taking a quick nap before heading to the stadium for game 7!
I've never seen so much shit fall in all over the place for a team.  It's pretty amazing.

Nevertheless - one run won't get it done.
4 in a row is going to be tough…..

if kc wins, i was originally going to cheer for them…i don't think i can any longer, with the comments from dyson and guthries shirt in the post interview.  both seemed to lack class.
Well at least they got the Hardy boy locked up for the next three years.

AMEN. What a bunch of classless a-holes.

A nice quote over at deadspin pretty much summing up the same thing.

"So Moustakas's catch on Jones's pop foul in the sixth stands out against the backdrop of sexily competent Royals baseball for being unexpected and spectacular, while still sitting squarely at the intersection of hustle and luck."
huh?

That was a nice catch.. mainly cause he held on to the ball even though he went overboard! not sure what Guthrie did but nothing wrong with what Dyson said…he just answered the question politely…I think he said "no, sir.. and I don't think they do either"

That is so terrible???

I think some frustrated O's fans ought to look in the their team's mirror here….three hits in a must win game?

Come on now!

i don't know if you're response is to me at all, but the quote i through out was in response to shemp's post about some serious KC luck, and in no way in support of the baseless claims that KC is a bunch of classless a-holes.  the media will spin any story they can… what do you expect dyson to say?
"both seemed to lack class"  ::)

its a team in the playoffs for the first time in 3 decades, on the verge of going undefeated into the damn world series. they have every right to be cocky about it. quit expecting athletes to be robots
Just google guthrie and look at his shirt.

Sorry, but these O's wouldn't do that.
And I cheered for him when they announced him in the lineup in game 1!
who cares. its a game, its meant to be fun. the royals are having tons of it and thats probably why they keep winning

never understood fans bitching about this stuff
what i really don't understand is contract negotiations going on during the playoffs

I just think you win with class and don't act like a bunch of assholes.

I'd worry more about your lack of offense…

Jeremy Guthrie @TheRealJGuts

My intention was not to anger O's fans or friends w/my shirt 2night.I apologize to those offended.Did not consider this reaction.Go Royals.
No surprise that a guy who practices a fucked up religion like Mormonism (Guthrie) would wear a Chris Brown-inspired t-shirt.

Oh, I'm worried plenty.

No matter what though, I'm just going to enjoy being worried and being able to cheer for my favorite team in October. It hasn't happened that often in my lifetime.
Jeremy Guthrie apologized to Orioles fans today for his choice of T-shirt following Game 3, saying he had no intention of being disrespectful.

"You'll never see the shirt again," Guthrie said in the interview room. "It was sent to me and it will be sent to the garbage."

Guthrie said a few former teammates told him that the shirt - which read "These O's Ain't Royal" - was a low blow.

"I was blinded to the fact that something I thought was fun was offensive," he said.
I mean, the guy was traded for Jason Hammel and then for Jonathon Sanchez, so I'd have a pretty big chip on my shoulder too, but at least he apologized.
