Orioles....part 2?

I like Pearce and Delmon starting with Davis coming off the bench.

Also, Miggy as the long reliever and Gausman in the rotation.

I think if you sit Chris Davis for more than one game you're not in your right mind.  Gausman has to be in the rotation.  And Bundy will be there soon enough as well.  The big question is what to do with Ubaldo….
give him run support.
You still thinking that?

Seems like someone gave Pearce all of Davis' juice this year.

Going tonight to see Darvish vs Chen.  Weather looks very iffy though.

Sure to be a few ill timed jokes about comfort women in that one….
What's wrong with Crush?

They could be pitching him differently, as Schoenfeld argues,. or…

To bring this back to the O's - do not let Chris Davis participate in the HR Derby.

You've been warned.
Toronto claims Reimold
so orioles seem to be rockin' it

Do not let Adam Jones participate in the HR Derby.

I don't want any of the O's in the HR Derby.  But it looks like Jones will be in it.

At least they are making it shorter this year.
Werthless

heh heh heh
What was up with him last night?  I think I missed what happened before he stepped out of the box for so long.

Good game to attend last night!

They showed it on the MLB Network last night.  He fouled the ball off his foot and didn't get back in the box until he had the feeling back.

After a while the ump told him to get back in the box, they jawed.

Werth took a pitch, stepped back out, probably to show up the ump, and that's when Williams came out to defend his player (also to buy time for Werth).

EDIT: Here you go.  WaPo's got the Story
Jimenez to the DL is a blessing in disguise….

Plus it gets Gausman in the rotation.  2 positives.

They showed video of Jones practicing with his HR Derby pitcher during the game today.  Then he took those same swings in the game.  Whiffff.
o's schedule after the break is going to be 'interesting' - 29 games facing teams that are all over .500
Saw that.  I'll be going to 11 or 12 of them, so hopefully my cheering will bring luck!
Strength of Schedule for the Second half:

Hardest:
(1) Orioles
Home/away: 32 games at home; 36 on the road.
Games against teams with records of .500 or better: 42

(2) Tigers
Home/away: 34 games at home; 37 on the road.
Games against teams with records of .500 or better: 41

(5) Mariners
Home/away: 31 games at home; 36 on the road.
Games against teams with records of .500 or better: 38

(9) Angels
Home/away: 34 games at home; 34 on the road.
Games against teams with records of .500 or better: 34

(15) Nationals
Home/away: 34 games at home; 35 on the road.
Games against teams with records of .500 or better: 28

(!7) A'S
Home/away: 36 games at home; 31 games on the road.
Games against teams with records of .500 or better: 29
(22 games left against Houston and Texas)
Sometimes, I think the Orioles fight harder against better teams.  They seem like they phone it in for easier teams.
