I really see this having a big impact on the price of groceries, nanny care, lawn care and the million of legitimate jobs these “illegals” do

I understand Colombia’s stated objection although can’t vouch for its veracity BUT in that case you take your citizens back - as Brazil did- and then summon the US ambassador and complain. If you don’t think your citizens are being deported in an acceptable form you don’t prolong their mistreatment by leaving them in the hands of their alleged mistreater!

Not saying the deportees were criminals but that it kind of contributes to that perception and helps feed that narrative.
