We have Senators getting themselves physically accosted to bring attention to this, Gavin Newsom is daring Trump to arrest him openly on TV, and Maxine Waters is basically out there challenging people to fistfights despite being geriatric – IDK man, Dems seem to actually showing up to things and causing scenes, of late. What will appease the dirtbag-wing of the left – Buttigieg in a tank?

but in all seriousness, those Dems doing things should be commended. I do not like Newsom, but he's issuing a challenge and getting press for it, so he does deserve acknowledgement for it. I think Dems that have been accosted by Trump's foot soldiers, even if they really didn't do anything (thinking Padilla, McIver) rocks…they were actually doing something.
but the rest, man…i don't know. Schumer talking about sending strongly worded letters, voting to "express gratitude" for ICE, still voting to confirm Trump nominees. Things are pretty bad…I would think you wouldn't just go about business as usual.
And on two other notes:
* If Buttigieg actually drove a tank, he might…MIGHT…get my vote.
* I don't really get boardwalk fries while I'm at the beach. We stay uptown.

So genuinely curious. Should democrats take their ball and go home? Filibuster for eternity
Tired of the bullshit dude.
Offer up what they should do or STFU
Republicans have a majority in both houses. Are you saying democrats should not vote ever? Vote against every time?
The reality is until the American people give a shit there is nothing they can really do. Yet all we hear is “they should do something!” Like what???

Yes, correct. If this is a fascist takeover of our government, and you are against that, you should stop voting along with the fascists. That doesn't seem to be a difficult thing ask.

As for "what to do", we are, collectively, a bunch of assholes posting on a music form about almost anything but music. I'm guessing none of us have the answers. Again, probably not too much to ask of the people we put into power to figure out what to fucking do to at least make it more difficult, if not stop it, from happening.

What if they want to do something you agree with? You still vote against? Why bother showing up?
Don’t speak for me buddy.
Stop it how?? Make it more difficult even if you agree??
You are so full of shit.

I mean we all know your position is ALWAYS that the Democratic Party sucks and the democratic candidate sucked and Schumer sucks and Biden sucked and Hillary sucked…
All this before Trump got elected for a second term. So your position has nothing to do with Trump…your posts have nothing to do with Trump and you couldn’t give a flying fuck about the Democratic Party.
You’re a bad faith poster NKOTB! Nothing you post about fighting trump should be taken seriously as you do everything you can to weaken the very party you say is letting you down in it’s opposition to Trump,
Now GTFO

Of course it does…NKOTB argued that Biden and Harris were responsible for genocide. Without questioning that point, did he think Trump would be better with his best buds relationship with Bibi? Of course not but that doesn’t matter…
NKOTB has that sort of communist outlook of 50 years ago where he believes things will have to get much worse before they get better so sardonically enjoys the getting worse.
Which is why the whole “democrats aren’t cutting it in their opposition to Trump” is just trolling. Unless the Democratic Party is willing to do what he wants they are the problem standing in the way of his communist takeover. To someone with that mind set the Democratic Party is more the enemy than Trump because what counts is becoming the ideology of the opposition to the Republicans. The only way to do that is to destroy the Democratic Party. Moreover, to someone with that warped outlook the democrats and republicans are ultimately the same thing: capitalist establishment parties.
