Murder is murder. If people took vigilantism up  en masse that would be the end of the rule of law and we would revert to a Hobbesian nature.

The answer is to regulate health insurance providers better. The answer is not to start killing CEOs on the street. This young man was clearly a very very disturbed individual.

Some good may come from his actions- or not - but that doesn’t make it right. The end does not justify the means.

Vigilantism is a very slippery slope.

Can I think of cases where vigilantism is justified and where you must live outside the law? Yes, extreme cases but in retrospect. And the threshold is very high.

Pure balderdash

You made the claim that heading the VOA would be risible. Heading an organization with 1000 employees and a $270 million budget is no joke. Your point was that it was a pathetic job.

You didn’t make the case Kari Lake would like being Ambassador more. That’s not what we are talking about. Sidehatch came in with his usual salient analysis and made the case he would like being Ambassador more.

I have no idea if she will even be offered this but I think your point that it’s such a lame offering just doesn’t stand on the merits. I mean it’s not a cabinet position but it’s a good position.

And no, debating the merits of heading the VOA versus being ambassador to México doesn’t excite me but when you say managing 1000 people and $270 million is a shit position yeah I gotta chime in. Like I get it he just wants to put her down but at least be attuned to reality.

The Dems best get their stuff together and be constantly on what ever platform they are on raising the issue that $190 million dollars going towards child cancer research was removed from the bill.

You can’t be serious

The sentencing judge said already that there will be no punishment and Trump said he thought the Supreme Courts decision was very fair.
