When are people going to react??? There hasn’t been one big protest march yet. Last time we had that huge women’s march but this time zilch.

I dunno, man…I've been to several. Maybe not womens march level but stuff is happening pretty much weekly. I think the difference is the stuff I've seen had been specific…protesting ICE raids or Mahmoud Khalil's unlawful detention or hospitals suspending trans healthcare or DOGE's bullshit at specific agencies.

it's embarrassing how long it took me to figure this out.  at first i thought "why?  the US either wouldn't have to change its name since United States of America would still work; or: any name change wouldn't affect its place in the list: United States of America, Canada, Greenland and Panama (USACGP!), or United States of the Americas, United States of America and Annexed Territories, or…"  then it dawned on me.  duh.
