For the record, I do agree 100% with walkie.  And it's another reason I find Newsom and Pete's rhetoric about the trans community (not to mention Newsom gleefully palling around with any fascist he can) so disgusting.

But I'd also be careful about the reading of this article.  Right in the sixth paragraph:

"The senior official explains that there is no process per se for dealing with trans people as a “threat group,” but feels that trans individuals will be increasingly targeted under the banner of “violent extremism.”"

I think it's pretty safe to say that trans people have large target on their backs, not just from this administration.  But I also don't think it's especially helpful for Klippenstein to frame the headline the way he did here, based on what the article actually says (or doesn't).

police investigate a case of possible domestic abuse in PA, the suspect kills 3 police officers and injures 2 others with an AR-15 in what might have been an ambush…

yet i'm seeing little about it in the news.  shouldn't this be a bigger story?  have we become this numb?  is trump's chaos taking up 100% of the air in the room?  or, who is trying to suppress this?

well it didn't really meet the narrative people want for clickbait

had the assailant been trans or POC and one of the officers been a white blonde female, it would have been front page news
