Transgender shouldn't be an election issue. Let people do what they want and let the sports governing bodies determine the sports stuff  This is something that affects a very small percentage of people. Focus on real problems.

the format was partially the blame, too.  zero fact checking?  near zero moderation?  cutting the mics helped, a little, but enough to salvage the negotiated format.

I think that was a huge part of the problem… his handlers basically gave him answers for every question and he tried so hard to repeat everything verbatim that he completely went off the rails vs. Just using his own voice.
