Right, but I think this thread is about when real stuff happens that sounds like the Onion.  Not when other satire sites sound like the Onion.

I didn't know where to put this but apparently one of the interns at NME.com couldn't detect the sarcasm in Chad Smith's voice:

As a rule, bands shouldn't do Zeppelin covers.  That being said, Cave In pulled off an amazingly credible cover of Dazed and Confused at the original Black Cat many years ago.  They subsequently did a studio version which sucked ass.
