why are we calling them "Muslim-Americans"?"

Do we call other people Christian-Americans or Catholic-Americans or Buddhist-Americans?

Do Jews get called "Jewish-Americans"? or is it "American Jews"?

I call them Muslim Americans because that's the phrase the NYT, Washington Post, and other online new sources I read use.

I am not anti-Muslim. I am anti-Fundamentalist-Muslim. Just as I am anti-Fundamentalist-Christian, or any other kind of religious fundamentalism.

ummm no.. sorry.. when you pick ONE GROUP to focus all your negative posts on and they happen to be Muslims.. you're pretty much anti-Muslim

you can say you're anti Fundamentalist Muslim but it doesn't wash….sorry.. I don't recall all your anti-Fundamentalist-Christian posts so for you to say that is bullshit and I'm kind of surprised the moderators have let it go this long but you keep it up and you're going to be looking for your 88th comeback on this site…
I mean WTF dude.. you're even posting fake news now?? WTF are you in the alt-right or something?

give it a rest.

I think fundamentalist-Christians have been effectively marginalized, and hope it remains the case (though who knows in a Trump world). If Fundamentalist Christianity starts presenting dangers comparable to that of Fundamentalist-Islam, I'll call them out with equal vitriol.

Chill out, dude. It was a satire piece that was tweeted about by a guy who is a Muslim. While not exactly fitting the definition of what this thread is about, the piece was very much in the spirit of the Onion.
Hutch, is anti . . . anti.
