Intentionally taking too much and succeeding in killing yourself = suicide

Overdosing by accident = not a suicide

Don't try to tarnish beer.  It is too good for that.

I think the preferred term is self sabotage.  Sometimes it results in death.  Sometimes it is just degrading.  And yes, fast food, drinking, smoking and drugging all count.

I think the real issue is whether or not you engage in behavior that you know is harmful to yourself (assuming you are truthful with yourself and otherwise educated).  You cannot possibly believe that a triple bacon cheeseburger is a reasonable choice.  Yet, you allow yourself to deny that danger.
