Is it time to put Rhino Records out to pasture? Their reissues are now sporadic and wan. Their newsletter completely lacks any excitement. One of the highlighted releases is an iTunes dance remix collection of Jewel's hits. Edsel-Demon and its ilk are completely eating their lunch.

but what the hell happened to ratbastard?  uhmm, like really?  nobody said anything up to me now at this space in time?  he privated me some time ago and i "forgot", who am i kidding, to respond back.  i hope nothing has happened.  i thought he was a nice and real and cool person.  real being the word you folks must look at.  there is a real person beyond what people post, no matter how shitty you think the post is.  you think everybody or anybody is perfect?

The Open Space music room was on fire earlier and a lot of Baltimore bands lost their equipment (witch Hat, Weekends, ad others).  Also Weekends new album and a ton of printing gear.

Damn that blows. Somebody just brought Witch Hat up to me the other night and wondered if they were still a band.

Soft Cat and Beyond Say also lost their gear in the fire. If they have a fundraiser for it, I will definitely be there.
