That bump…on his forehead….can't….stop….looking….
I assume our younger members look like this:

Colbert last night was the first time I heard a full killers song.
Sounded like the 80's schlock pendulum has completely swung back around.
First thing I thought of was this.

True fact: Weasel is actually Mr. Burns younger brother

I've always had this strange love of industrial photography of which this satisfies.
Here's a very interesting look inside the guts of Google.
Some very beautiful and colorful industrial photos.

The club is still equipped for radio, is it not? Running a station out of there 24/7 would be tricky though.

Royalties and the like would kill the idea. Either that or triple the price of drinks and such. Nice idea though.
Seacrets in OC has one but I've never tried listening. Probably only broadcasts for a few miles out, if that. Something that I should know about anyway as someone is bound to ask me about it one of these days.

99.1 is all-news nowadays and its ratings are in the gutter.

board is what you make it. Start some new and interesting threads.
i was just thinking the other day that places like 930 club and black cat ..etc etc are like the movie theaters in the 70's. Fine as long as someone taller than you was in front of you. When are they going to upgrade the live music venues in this area?
Why aren't there shows anymore at Constitution Hall or Warner Theater? They were decent places to see bands. Sick of going to shitty old style bars to see bands.
Prepare to be skewered for calling Constitution Hall a decent venue.
Constitution Hall is not a music venue.
As far as the Warner we all know what is going on there… Live Nation routes its concerts , almost exclusively, to the Fillmore. Costs far less to put on a show there.
The Hamilton is a wonderful music venue by the way.. not a "cheap bar"

Seth has more than likely started using Merriweather instead of Constitution Hall for shows at that level.

True. The problem with MPP, for me, is that its just too far…I don't consider it a DC venue. In any case its not much of an option during winter.

bands used to do shows at MPP in summer and then come back in winter and do Constitution Hall. They should have more shows at that place that Jeff Magnum played. Actually a very nice venue but have never seen any other shows listed for it.
