While I acutally believe this, you do spend a lot of time posting during business hours… :o
my business . . . has no real "schedule" per say.  i do work my ass off seven days a week, usually, and i do find time to relax here an there for a few minutes or so, to post on here, goof off on the internet, or read a chapter of a nice book.  in my business, id go insane if i didnt take a break every now and again.

nevermind?
Many of you know my pro-more-baby policies.  But I just discovered something.  There is a tax credit of 1000 dollars if you have a baby.  But wait a second people in my income bracket can't get the tax credit.  If you have a family income of over 130k you get zero dollars for having a baby.  So basically if you are middle class you don't get money for making a baby but if you are lower class and probably won't pay for your kid to go to college here is 1000 bucks to gamble away while you leave your kid in the car in freezing temperatures.

How does this encourage Atomic to make babies?  I am very disappointed in our lawmakers.

maybe society does not want Atomic having babies…  ;D
$130k is not middle class.

Its barely above the poverty level for a family of four. How do those people live? How do you even finance a summer home in the Hamptons on that?!?

In DC it sure as hell isn't… you're damn near poor.

Working poor, I guess.  I wonder why they decide what your pay for these deductions and credit is?  I donate the max to our 401k's but it still doesn't allow me to take some.  Our in-laws are adopting kids like they are going out of style and they get like 13,000 dollars per adoption and the phase out for that begins near 200k.  And why can't you deduct private schooling for primary education but you get credits for private colleges.  None of this stuff makes sense.

Society is making a mistake in judgement.
Here, here! If I don't have children, why can't I get a voucher to use my contributions towards my construction costs for a walk-in humidor?? Urban haute bourgeoise uber alles!!
i dont have children . . . and i want a voucher, for being fabulous.

If it were up to me I would give you a voucher.  But a voucher for what?  Free Cheese?
I am a white straight middle class male non-drinker non-drug user married for 35 years two sons pay my bills on time.  I want a voucher to help me pay for all the lazy people and those in society who continue to make poor choices that I am footing the bill for but I won't vote for you simply because you give me free shit.
