I haven't. Although NoVA is a lot different than "Real Virginia" if I remember the last presidential election correctly.
I've never understood why Maryland liberals choose to live in Maryland over Virginia. If you truly want to live somewhere where your vote matters, choose to live in Virginia.
Not to mention the car insurance prices are way way cheaper. Maryland drivers… woo boy.
i love how defensive VA'ers get.

NOVA = DC south.  Might as well lop off anything from dale City on up and give it to DC.
Maryland rules.

I just always get confused as to why MD/DC gives us so much negative attention. I get it, we're better. Get over it.
Why is VA better?
Better public universities, for one.

University of Maryland rocks.
consistently ranked behind both UVA and William and Mary

That doesn't matter to me.
Baltimore has a better music scene and more good bands than all of Virginia.

Less crime, better history, better parks, better drivers. There's more money flowing through Virginia, but I don't think that makes it better because if you live in Fairfax or Loudon [some of the richest counties in the country] it doesn't automatically make you insanely rich or insanely snooty. I mean, route 1 through Alexandria is a straight shit hole.

Plus we have the Birchmere AND Empire. I mean. Come on.
lol

Virginians actually know how to drive.

Serious question - on the Maryland driver's test, does the state instruct drivers to always use the left lane regardless of whether there is traffic in the right lane(s) and furthermore, to drive well below the speed limit when in the left lane?
Anyone who is actively participating in this argument on either side is an absolute loser who needs to find something better to care about. Its an imaginary line.
