DC seems to get a perverse pleasure in screwing over non-residents

i will continue to completely tune out any complaints like this until we enact a commuter tax.

more specifically, DC needs to continue to aggressively implement performance parking.  parking on public city streets should be priced to accurately reflect the cost.  this is a good, concise summary:

"Dupont Circle, like most of DC's busy neighborhoods, has far more demand for parking than supply of on-street spaces. Right now, we allocate the limited resource of spaces in one way. The meeting will discuss whether to allocate them in a different way."

Really? I think non-residents should at least be able to tell where they can park!

Listen I lived in DC for 15 years so  I hear you… I just don't think people shoud be ripped off with things like the paper fare card.. Yeah, lets screw over tourists! That will show them!

Commuter tax in to DC. That's the most retarded suggestion I've heard in a long time.

You must not have watched the presidential debate last night.
First time it's happened since I was five months old!

FIrst time in my life! and most probably last…

I guess Cabrera is just not a popular player.. if it had been Hamilton or Pujols I think it would have gotten a ton of attention…
The fact that he plays in Detroit probably doesn't help either.

case and point. verlander got the MVP last season as a pitcher, and it was essentially the same deal. detroit just aint sexy, and east coast bias from ESPN doesn't help.

I bet all it takes is a cold stare, and people just melt into a puddle.
Clearly it's a young Samantha Brown.

She's so friggin hot I can hardly stand it. During a spell of unemployment her travel show in the afternoon was all I had to look forward too.

WHOA!! The one on the right looks like Bob Dole.
Samantha Brown has got to be the most generically vanilla woman ever to grace the screen. I'll bet she was born wearing J. Jill and will get pregnant if you say 'fuck' in front of her.
Best thing on the net at this moment.

and she like guys with beards, too.
Though I can't argue against your first sentence, I can say that vanilla done right can be a very, very awesome flavor (of ice cream, of course)  ;).

She looks like a much more boring version of Gwyneth Paltrow
I actually think I'd look a little like this guy if I grew out my hair, my beard, put on a little bit of weight, and bought some glasses that were a little more middle of the road than what i wear.

Could just be my imagination though.
