I agree with your meat on the bones sentiments…in fact I wrote a book on that a while back (at least in my mind)… but Kim has more than meat, she's got a whale….

TO be clear, I love Kim Deal.. go Kim. .I don't care if you let yourself go!…. and I know she's had some tough breaks ….

it is striking how the two of them, twins, have gone in such different directions…. Kelley looks hot…maybe all her knitting helps prevent weight gain?

sometimes I wonder if Kim ditched the Pixies because she didn't want to be having thousands looking at her fat self… its different doing clubs in front of your adoring fans, who will look past such superficialities, than playing with the Pixies to largely strangers that will go "OH that's Kim???? She's so fat!" I also wonder if their stringent no pictures/videos policy had anything to do with her being ashamed of her weight gain…

in any case Kim and Kelley both sounded great the 930 earlier this year..

yes I have…By nature I am a thinker and Kim Deal and the Breeders are in my Hall of Fame…. what a treat to see them earlier this year (even if the 930 staff was completely out of control and overzealous about the no pictures business)…..

P.S.  I saw both on Friday and Kim is fitter than she was during the Pixies reunion.  Being away from Black Francis must be refreshing and make you want to get healthier.  If I had to deal with something like this every day:
