Things Smackie Thinks You Need to Know...
I was more excited about it when I thought it detached. It does not, which makes is a fairly thick tablet by fall 2010 standards.
Sorry, I've been distracted today…
Sprint Lights up WiMax in San Francisco
Well that only took 2+ years. And this one's just for Venerable:
Clearwire's San Francisco WiMAX launch was a bureaucratic nightmare

Smackie, if you've had some problems with some of your Google results, this may very well explain why:

Everybody Cries Sometimes
They say that big girls don?t cry, but sometimes even tough, manly men cry. A recent survey reveals the top 10 songs that force guys to reach for the tissues.

Nothing makes me cry like "Bad" live. Kate Bush's "This Woman's work" is a close second.
And of those songs mentioned only "Halelujah" has made me cry and it certainly wasn't Leonard's version.

I've seen numbers that actually show this quarter that iOS actually drops to below 25% in market share.

Thanks!
Not to mention how GREAT the weather has been in SF. Since the semester started, we've had nearly ten "halter-top days" which is probably just as many as I've experienced in my 7 years on campus combined up until now.

A survey from the Pew Research Centre that tested Americans? knowledge of world religions found that atheists and agnostics were better informed about religious teachings and religious leaders than were Protestants and Catholics. Evangelicals scored better on questions solely related to Christianity and the Bible.

Gee, thanks?
I'm sure the fine folks at Pew are happy to know that you take no issue with their survey or their results…

Hooray! One of my favorite 90's tech boom companies is back and this time with a useful (and legal) new purpose:
AUDIOGALAXY
The program has reinvented itself and is now a music streaming ? or more accurately, placeshifting ? application with which you can listen to the music stored in your computer at any time, no matter where you are.
Audiogalaxy lets you listen to your own music, stored in your own hard drive, thanks to Audiogalaxy?s mobile apps for iPhone, iPod, iPad and Android-based devices.
Free download (I think Econo was looking for something that did this).

Social Distortion have officially announced the release of their new album Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes due out January 18, 2011. The guys definitely don?t waste any time getting to business on Hard Times And Nursery Rhymes with the long awaited instrumental intro ?Road Zombie,? which sets the tone for the next fifty-five minutes. Followed by some new sounds with songs like ?California (Hustle And Flow),? which includes backing gospel singers and greasy solos. A quoted nod to the Stones and sure to give you the chills. Rest assured that you?ll find some familiarity with songs you?ve been hearing on the road such as ?Diamond In The Rough? and ?Bakersfield.? Be sure to keep your ears peeled for the band's first single "Machine Gun Blues," a grinding modern day Bonnie & Clyde outlaw style anthem. "Machine Gun Blues" will be available for download via iTunes on November 9.
