is puig a runaway consensus in the media? i would think fernandez gets the nod, simply by playing the whole year. and he's really, really, really good.
… he did play the whole year, right?
Yes, Fernadez played the entire year, though they may limit his last two starts to six innings, if not shutting him down completely.
Puig's hot start has fizzled a little, to about .307, so he's in the discussion for sure, but Fernandez has just not let up all season.

Yes. Totally awesome, but doesn't address my two biggest problems with Glass.
First, it only works on the right eye. Well, I'm left handed and, thus, left eye dominant.
And, second you have to have near perfect vision as you can't adjust the focal length to work with prescriptions.
So until they figure those two things out, Google Glass is not in my peripheral vision. And I'd drop the cash on it too.

And I'm just going to say this because I know none of you stay up late enough to see it for yourselves:
Mike Trout>Bryce Harper
I'm referring to all 5 tools, plus he's better looking and has better hair.
Mike Trout is having another Awesome SeasonFor those that might not click the link - some highlights:
Might lead the league in hits and walks, and might have 200 hits and 100 walks.
And if Trout reaches 200 hits, he'd be the youngest player ever with 200 hits, 100 runs, 25 homers and 30 steals in the same season. Alex Rodriguez is the current record holder, reaching those numbers in his age-22 season in 1996.
And check out this stat line because this is where Mike Trout is headed at his current pace:
.330 AVG
.437 OBP
.558 SLG
.995 OPS
25 home runs
36 stolen bases
109 walks
113 runs
197 hits
315 times on base
Want to guess how many players, at any age, have ever etched all those numbers on the same line of their Baseball Encyclopedia page?
Right you are. That would be none. Nada. Not a one.
So how great is Mike Trout? We think we just answered that question. Right?

As Mark McGwire said - 'I'm not here to talk about the past.'
Current WAR:
Machado 2.3
Trout 2.3
Harper 1.7
This story has a lot of time to be played out.
And 'Bam Bam'? What, like Bam Bam into the wall?
Mike Trout 8.3
Manny Machado 6.5
Bryce Harper 3.4

If you've been fine with Touchwiz via the S2 or S3, there's no reason to not stay with it for the S4.
I actually find the S4 Active to be a pain in the ass for all the times it's "useful" - under water photos are cool, but the quality is terrible as a rule, so is it worth it to have a phone you can submerge to take photos IF you have to open a USB cover every time you want to charge it? That would drive me completely insane.

I've had the S4 now for about four months and I already notice the lag time in things loading. Kinda lame.

I had a smashed screen on my S3…sold it for $220 on ebay. Ridiculous. Now i'm back on the nexus 4. I had one of these last year and the battery was for shit. Must have had a lemon, cuz this new one is going all day like a champ. Can't beat it for $250.

Would have been the easiest solution, yes. But the S4 Active does not support Qi charging natively.
I have switched all of my chargers to Qi chargers (save for my car) for my Nexus 4 and I hope to never look back. So much easier.

As it functions now this is prob my favorite android device to date.
Now i'm thinking of rooting it. Never rooted a phone. Can you point to an easy how to? My add always kicks in when i'm thinking of rooting a phone…go here download this install that flash this. blah blah blah.
I want to install this but need root:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=me.paranoid.touchcontrol&hl=enEdit: nm…we have a security policy on our exchange server that will probably make that app pointless anyway. Policy was in testing and was about to delete it but found out it's a keeper and will be mass deployed soon….

Jellybean 4.3 is the first Google OS I haven't yet found a need to root.
I will see if there's a non root equivalent of touch to wake or "knock, knock" as LG calls it. I suspect it's something we may see in Kit-Kat.
I also mentioned that I liked the Moto X's Bluetooth Bypass of the lock screen. I've found an equivalent that does the same for Bluettoth and Wifi that I love:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=de.j4velin.delayedlock2&hl=enIt's called Delayed lock and is awesome for the in the car and at home, though your Exchange PIN requirement may also render this moot.

Got excited when reading about this, but see in the notes that it will not work if Exchange Policy requires a pin.
I just remembered something else about my first N4…thing took forever to charge. It was definitely bunk.
