Things Smackie Thinks You Need to Know...

so, what hd, laptop, wifi media ready receiver do we use when all electricity is gone because our country is broke and has become a giant desert?

on the positive side, smax, you made the right decision.

on the downsite… uh, you sitting down for this? HTC not bringing Touch HD to the States. idiots.

I expect that to change, but I doubt they will make a CDMA (Sprint/Verizon) version. GSM only.

I LOVE my Diamond, and most for all the reasons I probably wouldn't like the HD Touch - form factor. The size is perfect for a male who keeps his phone in his pocket, but has every feature a phone should have. If I was a chick and had a purse, I could see the HD Touch blowing the Diamond out of the water, but given how on the go I am, I'm loving the Diamond.

Take him. I don't believe in overpaying for saves. I'd rather we spend the money on Teixiera and move Shields or Arredondo to closer.
It's Time.
unsurprising giving their recent tone

i just got myself the "regular" HTC Touch and i'm loving it. agreed that the size is just right - big enough for a decent screen, small enough for the pocket.

couldn't justify spending $300+ on the diamond when i only have 10 months to go on my current sprint contract.
you know smackie is one busy lad when there is no mention of The Beatles being added to the Rock Band series… i hope a cool hofner bass is under consideration
Yes we did.
congrats on the all the hard work… having seen some of those eye opening videos from those early palin OH events, it must have been a tough assignment….
smax: tonight would not have been possible without volunteers like yourself. i did a victory lap around my hotel room when i saw the ohio projection come up on the screen. yes you did.

smackie, on behalf of thedirector and myself, we extend to you our most heartfelt thanks and congratulations. i'm not en emotional type, fam, but i'm wiping a tear right now. this is historical.
we did indeed! you did more than most - just think the only thing that could have made today better would have been a Liverpool loss :)
group hug
Thanks for all your well wishes.

So I'm going to sleep for a little while then I'll be as open as I can about my experiences in Hamilton County, Ohio, which voted Blue for the first time since Kennedy - it really was the time of my life. If you have any questions about the campaign feel free to ask them.

I'm going to avoid the other political thread because, frankly, I'm tired of the discussion. We did what we set out to do and now it's time to focus on the future.
thats awesome

now maybe we can get some footie discussion going
ohhh., so thats where you were. I was wondering where you went the last couple weeks. Apparently i dont read this thread enough!
footie can come later, first i want to hear what it was like helping the campaign in OH. what was a typical day like? come across any dirty politicking? how did the locals feel about getting all this outside attention? what was the mood like inside the campaign office before nov 4, and on nov 4? how hard did y'all party once OH went blue, and the outcome became apparent?
