New Radicals Reunite for Joe Biden's Inauguration

"It is for that reason that the song has significance to the Biden family. In his memoir Promise Me, Dad, President Biden reveals that his son Beau used “You Get What You Give” as a psych-up song for his chemotherapy treatments, and when it became clear that his brain cancer was inoperable, the family continued to play it for him to keep his spirits up. In honor of Beau, First Gentleman Doug Emhoff uses it as his walk-on music. It’s in the pantheon."

Watch at the 1 hour 17 minute mark in this video.

I submitted this photo to our wedding photographer:

Originally the plan was for the groomsmen and DJ to be ridden by lesbian bike chariot along the waterfront to the wedding venue.  At the time we lived by the ballpark in SF.

And I wanted to stop at the arrow outside Gap HQ and sit on the lawn and take that photo in my tux:

The photog was in, I told him the whole story about the New Radicals and the album cover, etc…

But…..

A couple months before the wedding, we found a house, bought it and the whole "ride bike chariots and take that photo" got lost as we moved to the other side of the city so it never happened.

Still love that song.  Still regret not taking that photo….

If you would have posted this in my thread where I answer all things Olivia Wilde and hate on Jason Sudeikis, I could have told you sooner that she's saying "I'm Olivia Wilde, Welcome to the GQ Comedy Issue"
