Sadly, that Bimbo's show was announced after I was off on vacation and couldn't get back in time.  Planned my return around the Sunday OL show, but the accounts of my friends who were there said it was over the top.

Was anyone else at that solo acoustic Sturgill show in Georgetown when he only had one album out? Twangirl?

The Director rolled through town last night to see System of a Down.

He was here for 16 hours but my head feels like he was here for 3 days.  Definitely like GGW the day after BRMC/Kings of Leon….

Yes, I booked him into Gypsy Sally's, really enjoyed the show–the songs and his between song comments. Favorite quote of the evening: "if you like trippin' balls and country music, I'm your guy".
