He comes highly recommended by Smackie, though he's not for the faint.  Certainly not a date night, though if she doesn't walk out, she's a keeper.

again . . . omg!!!
Hello.

We are pleased to announce the new-fangled PIXIES mobile app (available for iPhone and Android) is now out and ready. And FREE.

Stream the Purple Tape. Download Coachella 2004. Listen to live shows from '88 and beyond. There is even an acoustic show in there.

Oh, and did we mention the site now has the entire catalog (so far) ready for download in CD-quality digital files? It does. The Doolittle Lost Cities US Tour Dates are onsale now, too. Busy times, indeed.

All the info is here: http://pixiesmusic.com

La la love you,
PIXIES
Ervin Santana.
Just an FYI:

Verizon offers new $20 Data Plan for DC, MD, VA

Looks like you're the test market for new ideas.

Thanks for correcting that.  I got that off his web site and pinged him for clarification, but never heard back.
HP's just killed Palm and WebOS faster than Cisco did the Flip.  And paid twice as much.  Ouch.

I forgot to comment on how much I LOVED this.  Brilliant.
Hey Smackie did you get the hp touchpad that is dirt cheap now?  Good or bad?  I went ahead and got a 32gb one as I guess they are having a fire sale on it  ;D

Haha, no, but that's a helluva deal for that hardware.  I'm sure it will be hacked to run a different OS in no time.  I'm pretty sure the xperia and xperia play use the same snapdragon chips so I'd start with that ROM first and see what happens.

Smackie has had a Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 for some time now and LOVES it. If I see a touchpad for $100 though, I'll probably grab one just to hack away.

That didn't take long….

And the winner of the $1,500 bounty for Android on the TouchPad is ... Qualcomm?

i like people who are all, "i'm canceling"  "screw netflix, i'm out."  "we'll show them, we'll all cancel our accounts."

uhh, huhh.  sure they will.

"Vansmack, thank you for being a Netflix member. We hope to see you again soon. You may sign up again at any time."

Oddly, when I cancelled, they had check boxes for why I was cancelling, and none of them had any reference to the change of plans.  And no, there wasn't an empty text box option for me either.

"oddly"?  it's in perfect keeping with the self-deluded ostrich-with-its-head-in-the-sand approach they've consistently taken to this "product offering diversification and pricing re-alignment" <insert puppies and rainbows here>.  unbelievable.

i can't wait for the harvard business case to come out on this: "how to not introduce a price hike to your existing client base".
And just like that it's on…

Dish said to plan Blockbuster Rival to Netflix

That explains netflix losing starz this morning….
didn't you mention at some point that you use amazon prime?  thoughts on the service?  free shipping times have skyrocketed lately for me without prime.

Yes, and I love it.  Although, I must add the caveat that I live no where near any family members and ship a ton of stuff so it makes a lot of sense for me.  It pays for itself in December, though I use it year round.

The addition of the streaming video content I could take or leave, however, I "understand" that a Netflix like service for books is also coming to Amazon Prime for the kindle.  That has me excited.

this Amazon Mom service looks like a no-brainer to me, especially with the amount of baby products we buy:

This has no business being in Smackie's thread.  Call me when she's 18…
