Last time I saw X, which was at the 9:30 Club in the early naughts, after the show Billy Zoom followed my then girlfriend into the ladies room. GGW was thankfully there to rescue her…

I remember it was a huge deal. I made my parents take me to Tower Records and I bought a Chumbawamba CD. And that has to be my answer for the rest of my life.

so what is the brick and mortar music hall? saw one of Kozmo's bands was playing there and don't recall that SF venue?

Used to be Coda (jazz/supper club in the mission nearly under the freeway between Zeitgeist and Rainbow grocery), but a partnership that includes an owner of The Independent took it over about 10 years ago. They've had some problems with noise and neighbors, and a shitty partner who has since been ousted, but have for the most part been pretty successful for upcoming independent bands.

Same. I saw her at the Outside Lands Festival and figured that was probably the last time. Greatly enjoyed her shows at The Fillmore and The Fox more….

I am intending to go to this show at the CapOne. I will post show banter it. I have never seen her, and this is not the right time, but too much $$ invested.
