Things Smackie Thinks You Need to Know...
Sweet, sweet karmic retribution for CBS ballooning up their NCAA Selection Show from an hour to 2 hours only to have the bracket leak online (for the first time, iirc) ~25 minutes in.
Yet another good reason to own a PC:
'Beginning at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, you can access the sale by clicking the "Special Offers" tab at the top of your screen. Then, click the green "Details" icon to the right of your Exclusive Opening Day Offer. (The use of a PC may be required, as not all smart phones and tablets support our ticketing system.)'

Post the link and I'll test it with my Chromebook.
But honestly, who builds a system that doesn't support mobile devices in 2016?

I happen to know who sweetcell works for and would be very disappointed with their IT dept and web team if this hasn't happened, especially with their global reach.
yup, i can remote in to my PC at work, but video editing and photoshop are no-go's. on a personal note, i might end up using this machine for making noise. might be nice to make music on a laptop, instead of being tied down to the PC in the basement…
also, it pisses off smackie ;D
You call that noise!!??!??

apparently worth it's weight in bitcoins

I dunno. But who stops accepting print-at-home tickets?

Although, I'm not 100% sure that the citrix receiver works all that well on a chrome book
(the two star reviews on the Play store sound like it's not working that great)
This guy, gets it.
I bombed my SCOTUS interview yesterday. It's not going to be me…

Took a little longer than I thought:

While greatly enhancing the experience, it also greatly enhances the chances of getting caught with your pants down.

Finally got around to trying this and it blew my mind. If you have a Google Cardboard or something similar, this is the best use I've seen yet, and I'm stoked about getting an LG 360 Cam hopefully this weekend.
I'm not really sold on VR, but for the first time ever, I wish I had a higher quality VR system than my $9 Cardboard.

Didn't have the money or the borrowing capacity that Alaska had.

I know the Virgin from SF to DC was the ONLY option for us
I've been annoyed that Virgin didn't have any DC-> destinations other than CA
they were by far the best air carrier…(although I've never flow Emirates)
That United flight is still an option, but yeah, I much preferred the VA flight.
Out of SF:
LA/SD/Palm Springs
Seattle
Portland
Maui/Oahu
Vegas
Cabo/Puerto Vallarta/Cancun
Austin/Dallas
Chicago
Fort Lauderdale
Boston
LGA/JFK/NWR
DCA/IAD
It was heaven for me, even without Nashville.

I already had some in my portfolio, but yeah, a little more would have been nice.

Got a snap judgement on the new HTC A9? My worry is that a higher end model will come out sooner rather than later and I'll have jumped to soon. i've been very happy with my M7, but it's not getting marshmallow and it's battery life is a little wonky
and i'm fully aware that the new Nexus line looks pretty awesome, but would involve leaving my carrier to get it.
I would never buy a mid-range phone on contract. The A9 would fall into that category and would lock you into two years, but the phone won't last that long. And if you're concerned about the battery life of a two year old M7, the 2150mAh battery of the A9 is going to make you very unhappy.
When is your two years up with the M7? I expect the M10 to come out in the beginning of April, just like in the previous M's. But if your two years is up now….
Not sure what you ended up doing, but the HTC 10 is the HTC you've been looking for.
I just got the G5, and I'm pretty happy with it, but if this had come out a month earlier…

The unlocked version is ok if you're on T-Mo or at&t, could be a real challenge if you're on Verizon or Sprint.
