Virginia 149 deaths reported today
Are they spreading the backlog out over three days? That’s nearly 500 deaths reported in three days! In a state that was averaging 30 a day

Sounds possible. Also, no new cases in Fairfax County today. That's not right.

With those numbers- and for the first time- more people have now died in Virginia than Maryland from covid19

That's kind of wild when you consider there are 2.5million more Virginia residents.

Makes sense.
Virginia=8.6 million population
Maryland=6 million population
The VA cases per 1 million is at 66K, whereas the MD cases per 1 million is at 62K. Though no doubt three times higher.

Maryland is slightly more obese, 32.3% to 31.9%. Maryland population is also slightly older, 38.7 to 38.2. Maryland is 33% black, Virginia is 21% black. Maryland is 10.6% Latino, VA is 9.7%

Does anyone else feel like we were born to get vaccine appointments for people? I found the vaccine version of this board on fb at "maryland vaccine hunters" and they had all the tips and tricks I needed to get relatives and friends appointments! Highly recommend if you're looking and are frustrated.

I can’t pretend to know what is the right thing to do but for me I know I won’t enjoy a bar or concert until I am vaccinated…and until everyone in my household is

Even once you're vaccinated… when will you feel comfortable rubbing elbows with a bunch of sweaty pear shaped men (settle down walky) in a crowded room? I think wearing masks will still be the norm for a while.

Twenty year olds aren’t going to wear masks…
And how do you wear a mask and drink? Venues aren’t going to require masks

Have you met young wokes? They are the most diligent mask wearers on the planet. We will reach herd immunity and five years later they will be wearing masks and talking how the blood of 14 Americans a year is on all the rest of us who-are-not’s hands in some weird COVID virtue signaling.

Well you've met me in person. Did I look like Neil Young? Or Jeff Tweedy?
I can see the Jeff Tweedy, because we have similar glasses and hair. (Though I'm probably 15 pounds over my ideal weight, and he's probably 40 pounds over his.)
In that photo..NY for sure
IRL …maybe tweedy, but maybe joe walsh

So, basically you guys are saying i look like any middle aged white guy with hipster glasses and long hair. I have big eyes, Gary Oldman has smaller, squinty eyes. Also, Jeff Tweedy has a bulbous nose a large round head. I have a sharper, more pointed nose and smaller, more oval head. I've also heard Butch Vig more than once, but he's got the droopy lips of a stoke victim and that stupid mustache. My lips are small and unremarkable but not sagging.
Who do people say you guys look like?

Seems like cases have crept up ever slightly in the last week nationally.
https://covidtracking.com/data/charts/us-daily-positiveAlso, 508 new cases in Fairfax County today. And we have just over a million people. That would put us over twice the national rate.
