From the "Did you know" department, Rita Coolidge didn't receive songwriting credits for the piano coda in the 1971 single "Layla" by Eric Clapton's band Derek and the Dominos. Rita had played it for Clapton, Jim Gordon took the demo, and Eric Clapton never gave her credit.

i've been positive for a few days now… had an outbreak in my family, everyone has or had it. nothing serious, it's just like a lingering cold. i'm ready to be rid of this bug.
