Its institutional racism, everyone knows that.
Mississippi just took the second spot in per capita terms…Louisiana is fourth

These states worked hard to climb up the charts

An interesting look up is where Washington state is…they were the state with the first identified case and were hit hard…at the beginning they were number one

How do they arrive at that number? And do they mean five times as many unavaccinated Republicans as unvaccinated Democrats?

he had to say this whether it was the truth or not otherwise:
NFLPA reportedly opens investigation of Jags' Urban Meyer, who said vaccine statuses influenced roster cuts

the NFL is going the behavioral route on vaccination: they aren't mandating it, but they are making life hard on those who refuse.  if a team can't play because of COVID cases, the team forfeits the match.  coaches & management's job is to win matches.  if a player represents a risk of losing a game before even stepping on the field because of a personal decision, it's understandable that coaches & management would take that fact into their calculus… but the Players' Association is complaining that making a decision based on vax status is discrimination.  idiots.
Exactly…just like that horrible Jags coach

I've learned it's best not to challenge an astro-physicist when he throws out stats

But it's not even clear what he is saying.

He's saying the people who vote GOP are dying at 5 times the rate of Dems (from Covid)…keep that going for a year or so and would really impact the voting electorate…right?

That's not what he's saying. And how would he know? Does he have the voting records of everyone dying?

He's saying 8000 unvaccinated Republicans are dying weekly. And that's five times as great as Democrats. Is the implication then that 1600 unvaccinated Democrats are dying weekly? Where are these numbers coming from? How do they know who is a Republican voter and who is a Democratic voter?

And among the small amount of vaccinated people who are dying, can we assume it's an even split among Republicans and Democrats?
Hey man take your beef up with NDgT
he's typically pretty reliable when it comes to stats

Thanks for asking. Twitter, of course, does not lend itself to full citations.

I derived the number from published COVID-19 death rates of unvaccinated people (about 1,000 per day).  And from the polls that show 25% of Republican voters are unvaccinated, versus 5% of Democrats.

I mean he did get torn apart for this response…

It would be awesome if the vaccination rate for Republicans and Democrats was 75% and 95% respectively, but it's actually 55% and 88%.

I really doubt 80% of current deaths are Republicans….but I bet 100% are Americans

Rogan: He quarantined from his family, tested positive for COVID, and then “threw the kitchen sink at it, all kinds of meds.” He then proceeded to list said medicine: “Monoclonal antibodies, ivermectin, Z-Pak, prednisone, everything. I also got an NAD drip and a vitamin drip and I did that three days in a row. Here we are on Wednesday, and I feel great.”

Well, great. If he lives through it he'll never know what, if anything, actually helped.
