Tonally, I think it needs to be more Bergman's Persona than the Odd Couple.
I need to watch more Ingmar Bergman

My partner just wants to watch movies appropriate for the kids

When I was their age my parents watched Bergman

Aside from getting my Pfizer booster at CVS (after Moderna 1st 2) pretty much the same reaction here.
I got the flu shot and Pfizer booster at the same appt and in the same arm.  Couldn't raise my arm that night nor most of the next day, otherwise nothing notable.  All I wanted was one good night sleep  and I didn't even get that!  (and of course to not die of Covid)
Scheduled my kids appointments at CVS online this morning. Looks like they'll be fully vaxxed before we go to Cancun.

(That is if we ever get my wife's passport renewal…)
I just realized I have a show conflict on the day I scheduled my booster for.

Had to redo mine this year and paid for expedited which promised "within 6 weeks". Took 42 days, on the nose. I think they're backed up with tons of people thinking of travelling on the backside of COVID.
Had my booster last night… no side effects… yet.

Didn't think I would need to do expedited service for a trip in December when I applied back in July but here we are!
trying to get my kids Pfizer'ed next week, but lots of confusion since it's all still new.  haven't scheduled my booster yet.

SAw this the other day. Didn't read, since we're all set for our 2022 trip.

Rodgers received homeopathic treatment from his personal doctor to raise his antibody levels and asked the NFLPA to review his status. The players' union, the NFL-NFLPA jointly designated infectious disease consultant and the league agreed that Rodgers' treatment did not provide any documented protection from the coronavirus.

He has since tested positive.

The UK becomes the first country to approve an antiviral pill to treat COVID-19
On Thursday, the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) approved the use of the antiviral pill jointly developed by Merck and Ridgeback Biotherapeutics. The molnupiravir tablet will be taken twice daily by vulnerable patients who have recently been diagnosed with COVID-19. UK Health Secretary Sajid Javid said the new treatment would be a "gamechanger" after the UK became the first country in the world to approve a drug of its kind.
