Those Alien ones are great!

that is a tall order, you get to pick one

I just ordered one of these from the boardshort company https://www.birdwell.com/

For each mask you purchase, a mask will be donated to CORE, a non-profit founded by Sean Penn working in partnership with the LA Mayor’s Office and the LA Fire Department to provide free drive-through testing for high-risk individuals.

So feel a little better about the purchase because of that.

I'll let you know how it works out, but looks a lot nicer than most I've seen
My much better half is a Tom Binn bag enthusiast and she got a couple of their masks when they shifted production to them. They are the ones I usually wear… Made in Seattle

Note: I'm looking for masks that are extra safe, not extra fashionable.

I don’t think I even know you anymore
No… that’s pretty stupid
This is what stupid gets you

Reopening the economy doesn’t mean you have fraternity rush parties..

You are still trying to practice social distancing and you still don’t have super spreader events

I can confirm that they are not using those 12-inch swabs to collect a sample from your brainstem

I did one of those drive-through tests yesterday and they just use a traditional Q-tip in both nostrils

I needed to get it for pre-op surgery (torn Achilles tendon…getting old is fun)

But testing accuracy is still an issue
Accuracy still unknown for many coronavirus tests rushed out

Do you know what the timeframe is for getting your results back?

logic would dictate, Yes

But I doubt it,
was really having a lot of fun this year, the newly remodeled skatepark is awesome

This tendon injury is a bitch
About 800 new covid cases in our region of MD, DC, MD….19 covid deaths yesterday

I guess our best day in three months maybe?

I still don’t really feel it’s much fun going out..hardly worth it…like we went to five guys yesterday and with the masks and worry us out what kids are doing and less tables..for me at least probably should have gotten food to go
So for those with kids in school, what's your preference for next year?

1. Full time live, synchronous distance learning with Fridays off
2. In school one day a week, three days asynchronous learning with Fridays off
3. In school two days a week, two days asynchronous learning with Fridays off
I like this graph…because of where I live

The latest update today from http://rt.live shows 31 states tipping into an R > 1 which reflects that their epidemics are expanding. Morgan Stanley's latest model update pegs the national R equal to 1.1 and U.S. epidemic doubling time of about 52 days, from 60 last week.
"When Trump urged governors to reopen their economies more quickly, he was defying guidelines suggested by that very same agency, i.e., the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. In other words, CDC is not merely getting cast as the scapegoat for the current spikes; it is getting cast as such even though it was far more right than Trump was.

The New York Times has a deep dive into the mounting cases we’re seeing across the country, summarizing the situation this way:

New known virus cases were on the rise in 23 states on Monday as the outlook worsened across much of the nation’s South and West. Hospitalizations for the coronavirus reached their highest levels yet in the pandemic in Arizona and Texas, and Missouri reported its highest single-day case totals over the weekend."

Trump’s frantic shifting of blame for coronavirus has hit rock bottom
