COVID-19 2020

What if you were the contact tracer for Kevin Bacon?
CDC Report: Covid has left about 285,000 more people dead in U.S. than would be expected in a typical year; 2/3 from Covid, the rest from other causes.
For 25- to 44-year-olds, excess death rate is up 26.5% , the largest change for any age group

Because of the newness of the diseases and disinformation campaign run by the rightwing media and elected GOP officials…it is important to note the excess death numbers to show a distinct correlation
Reminds me of the “Mission Accomplished” banner
A lot of people, round here, are talking about a possible second lockdown.  We are stocking back up on food for we looked in horror last night at our pantry and basement storage shelving that we are seriously low on canned foods / pastas / soups / sauces / cookies and junk food.

We are planning our massive Costco / Walmart / target / Aldi shopping delivery to our doorstep run here in the next few days, to have supplies for the winter.  That's how we live out here in the woods and mountains; like men; like men with internet and credit cards and a desire to not step back foot in stores.

And for toilet paper / paper towels . . . we like this:  https://us.whogivesacrap.org/

That's funny. All people around here can talk about is sending their kids back to school as soon as possible…..
Meanwhile, 91K new cases today. Great job, America! A new record!

Sort of pales in comparison to the 47K they had in France today though.

It’s weird though…nobody seems to care

But people do die from it…lots

Its the most widespread it has been and all over the country

I am sort of out of words tonight

I keep reading/hearing "COVID is here to stay."

Is this the Democratic party line now, or just the Trump party line?
Look when you have 3 million known active cases it ain’t going nowhere for a while but you could slowly decrease the number of cases over time and reassert control.

That’s no party line just reality

101K new cases today. America, you've done it again. Congrats, you rock!
Yes I follow worldometer

it’s just insane…..and winter is just starting

The American people are kind of scaring me right now

108K COVID cases yesterday and 115K cases today. Both new records! And I ad read all over Facebook that the virus was going to magically disappear November 4.
132.5K today. New record! Won't be going anywhere indoors til forever. Distance learning and telework for the next nine months.
The new case rates in some states are staggering

Amazingly didn’t really matter to the voters…

Americans are crazy scary

Mark Meadows has it
Ahhhh the guy who refused to wear a mask even when Trump got it

One of these fuckers got to drop dead
