So who is getting their mitts on this new 16 CD boxset of rare DC r&b, doowop, soul, etc, so I can borrow it for six months… the thing looks really well done, but yikes on the price…

so the lads from Wigan The Lathums just landed in the number one spot on the UK charts with their debut record!!!
but the shenanigans they get up for charting a record over there.. like releasing a deluxe digital version two days after the formal release
oh well they deserve it, growing a huge base via social media during a pandemic is a feat
and yeah the "return of guitar music"

i took the plunge on this one and ordered it from a local online store and it should arrive tomorrow… took a listen to the some of the songs the WaPo highlighted in their story about the collection and am intrigued to hear the other 400 tracks included. the book with it looks amazing and i honestly think I will donate this to a local library system at some point
